YEARS 5-6

Stage 3 is the final chapter of Junior School and holds many special and valuable experiences for our students, as we prepare them to transition across to Senior School.

CHALLENGING AND EXCITING LEARNING EXPERIENCES

Students connect with technology as they engage in challenging, exciting learning experiences and guided inquiries. They develop 21st Century skills of collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.

Our Stage 3 students have a vast array of co-curricular opportunities specific to their stage. There are opportunities to create and investigate the world around them through the Mathematics and STEM Clubs. The College has a strong debating program which sees our students training weekly and competing in various external competitions. There are numerous gifted and talented programs that students can participate in throughout the school year.

SPECIALIST SCIENCE LESSONS AND PREPARATION FOR SENIOR SCHOOL

Our Year 6 students have Science lessons with a specialist Science teacher in the Senior School labs, allowing them access to excellent equipment and resources. These weekly lessons combined with the Year 7 Taster Day and Night of Notables prepare our students well for Senior School.
