YEARS 7-9

In Year 7 a smooth and seamless transition to high school is created in an environment where students feel secure and cared for and where academic excellence, creativity, sporting participation, student wellbeing and spiritual development are fostered.

SUPPORT, MENTORING, TECHNOLOGY AND CAMPING

Support is offered with transition through our Peer Support, Peer Mediation and Student Mentoring programs.

Students in Years 7–9 follow the curriculum pattern set out by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). They connect with technology through the Bring Your Own Device program which is integrated across the curriculum. The College Camping Program is an integral part of the Pastoral Care for Years 7 and 8. Camps assist students to build relationships with fellow peers and with God and to develop a strong sense of self-worth and confidence in an environment away from home and school.

CELEBRATING TALENT THROUGH CO-CURRICULAR PROGRAMS

Students have an opportunity to celebrate their creative talents through the many cocurricular programs of sport, music and creative and performing arts. Students can represent the College in Debating, Public Speaking and the Tournament of Minds as well as engage in Science, STEM, Robotics and Visual Arts clubs.

Students can also participate in representative sport through a weekly competition as well as have the opportunity to further representation at higher levels.
