Scholarships


Scholarships for 2024 have now closed. Information on scholarships for 2025 will be released later this year.

Broughton Anglican College is committed to providing outstanding educational opportunities for students, who have displayed a level of excellence in identified areas, to develop their gifts and talents in a Christian environment.

Scholarships are available for students entering Year 7 and 11. Scholarships are awarded for part or/all of the duration of a student's education at the College and are subject to regular monitoring. Scholarships are offered to cover part of the tuition fee of scholarship recipients.

Applications for 2024 Scholarships will open in October 2022 and close in February 2023.

If you are applying for an Academic or STEM Scholarship you will also be required to register with ACER. Follow this link to register https://www.acer.org/scholarship

Important Dates

  • ACER online registrations open Tuesday 27 September 2022
  • ACER registration closes midnight Monday 6 February 2023
  • Portfolio submissions for all scholarships close Monday 6 February 2023
  • Closing date for all scholarship applications is Monday 6 February 2023
  • The ACER scholarship examination will be held on Saturday 25 February 2023
  • Notification of 2024 Scholarship offers will be made from Monday 27 March 2023

Year 7

  • Academic Scholarship
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Scholarship
  • Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) Scholarship
    • Music
  • Christian Service Scholarship

Year 11

  • Academic Scholarship
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Scholarship
  • Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) Scholarships
    • Music
    • Visual Arts
    • Drama
  • Christian Service Scholarship
  • Indigenous Leadership Scholarship

Duration

  • Year 7: Six years (Years 7-12)
  • Year 11: Two years (Years 11-12)
